As you all know, Eurovision is an annual contest where all the countries in Europe, choose a group or solo, to represent them in the contest.
This year, Pastora Soler will represent Spain in Eurovisión.Se presented with three songs, and finally chosen was: Stay with me. What do you think of the song? Do you think Spain will be in good stead this year?
The votes among countries, lately, it is no music, therefore, seldom wins a country worthy of winning song What do you think about that? Do you think that's fair?
I think Spain can have a good place in ESC, better than last one, with "Que me quiten lo bailao", terrible!
ReplyDeletePastora has a great voice and she's pretty, too. The other song she could thing weren't as good as "Stay with me" (Quédate conmigo in Spanish) and it's amazing!
The contest has been always criticized because many people think the real winners are selected without criteria, with only politic reasons but, in my opinion, it's false. Although some years the best song doesn't win (Amaury Vassili was the best of the last contest but Ell & Nikki won) always a good performance is the winner (Running Scared)
Some people say countries vote to their nearest countries but, the country which has won more times is Ireland and, it's and island almost with no frontiers!
The 50 % of the points a country gets is made by phone calls and the other 50 % is decides by impartial International Judges. Last year, whe have been very bad in points because judges gave us a few points but, phone calls help us!
Well, as you can imagine, I love ESC and I'm an expert about the topic! hahahhaha

I like ESC so much! But we never win because the songs are always terrible! May be this year we can have an opportunity because Pastora Soler is a wonderful singer an the song is beautiful too. But sincerely, I don´t think that we can win xD

I used to be a fan of ESC when I was a kid, until I realised that it was a political thing, mainly. Anyway, the songs now are rubbish and I don't care who wins or loses. I feel sorry for Pastora, who is a great singer, but I don't think she needs the contest to get to a wider audience.

I like see ESC but I'm tired to see some horrible songs, I think this Spain will be better in ESC.
ReplyDeleteIf I tell you the truth I don't think that Spain will win, but it will obtain better position. The song isn't very bad, but the other countries are better.
