A bit of humour! 2

Hägar is back, like Berter the Converter. Is it just a coincidence? Are they friends? Who knows?
While you think about it, have a good laugh!
A question without an answer:
How can you girls have so many things in a super mini handbag like that?

Berter The Converter

Brittany has created a new character named Berter The Converter, and I think he is quite a good guy. His first appearance was some weeks ago, when we were talking about decimal numbers and he tried to help us to multiply them, by converting (yeah! he is The Converter) from imperial to metric units. He also showed us that imperial units are not in a decimal system, so you have to use different conversion factors between multiples of the same unit.

Last week Berter striked back with percentages: Berter Goes Shopping. He went shopping on sales, so he had to calculate the final price by substracting the different discounts of the items in different shops. I'm not sure wether Berter learnt something about how to calculate some percent of a quantity, but i think he really had a good time. His last appearance was yesterday during the test.

What do you think about Berter The Converter?
Do you like him?
How do you think he looks like?

Fishes

Today, with our visit to the river, I've decided to free them so they can swim where they want. Goodbye and good luck!

The fishes want to thank you for the interest you took from the first moment feeding them and taking care of them. Write here your farewell comments.

PS: I hope there are no sharks in Montoro.

Cantalenguas - Song Contest

Our school is going to take part in a Song Contest (like Eurovision) organized by Centro de Profesores in Córdoba. The name of the contest is "Cantalenguas".Many groups of students in the province have recorded a video with their songs in English or French. Here is our candidate: Ana, Lidia and Pilar sing "Stand by Me". Now we have to wait to see if they are chosen for the final round in Córdoba. Good luck, girls! You sang beautifully! Enjoy it.

At the cinema

An afternoon at the cinema! With lots of popcorn and cokes. We saw "The Blue Lotus" starring Tintin and Snowy. The action takes place in Shanghai. Tintin tries to solve a mystery in which poisoned darts play an important role.
Was this your first film in English?

At the theatre

Vicky is a vampire. When the tourist board asks her to convert her castle into a hotel, she is a bit angry. But then, she thinks ... tourists are full of blood, and she likes to drink blood.

I really had a great time, and I hope you did as well. Elizabeth, the actress, was excellent and you were great too, especially Alberto/Mrs Peacock, who made us laugh once and again. Congratulations, boys and girls!
